WHAT WEATHER CONDITIONS DO YOU WORK IN?
Our staff are qualified to work in all weather conditions unless adverse weather makes the work site unsafe or will affect the quality of work they are able to complete. In this case, work may be delayed until the weather has cleared up and you will be informed of all progress and alterations that are made to scheduled work.

DO YOU OFFER FREE GROUNDWORKS QUOTATIONS?
Yes, DT Groundworks offers free groundworks quotations. You can request one by either calling us, emailing us or completing our contact form and someone will get back to you with the best help possible and arrange any necessary site visits.

ARE YOU ABLE TO COMPLETE GROUNDWORK IN LOCATIONS THAT ARE VERY SANDY OR BOGGY?
DT Groundworks has many years of experience in working on groundworks projects in challenging locations, and we welcome any challenge that is thrown at us.

IS THERE A RISK OF YOU CUTTING THROUGH AN ELECTRICAL CABLE OR SEWAGE PIPES WHEN EXCAVATING?
Before we start any project, we also obtain plans for the services connected to sites, as we are well aware of the risks of cutting through any services and causing severe disruption. Safety is our number one priority when conducting any kind of work on a site.

DO YOU OFFER WASTE REMOVAL SERVICES?
Yes, we have our own equipment for the removal of waste and excess materials from work sites. We establish a hierarchy for waste reduction at the start of every project, in order to avoid any unnecessary damage to the environment and depletion of valuable resources.

IS IT POSSIBLE TO CARRY OUT WORK WITHOUT UPSETTING NEIGHBOURS?
Of course, when work is carried out it is important that people who live nearby don’t having any cause to complain about what is being done. We are very experienced with collaborating with clients and neighbours to reduce any concerns. Often, this will include alleviating structural, environmental, noise and dust issues that may be created as a result of the work we carry out.

WHAT QUALIFICATIONS DO YOUR GROUNDWORKS STAFF HAVE?
We have some very experienced people in the company and we regularly review staff training requirements. Every new employee receives an induction and toolbox talks that are related to any groundwork tasks they will be expected to perform. Staff are also trained to meet external requirements, such as the Construction Plant Competence Scheme and Street Works UK, as well as being trained in First Aid.
